Key assessments, reports, technical work from Ruawai Adaptive Pathways and examples from adaptation planning around the country
Natural hazards modelling and mapping are important tools for adaptation planning. These tools help us understand current and projected flooding and supports decisions on response options and pathways.
The Ruawai Adaptive Pathways project area has a series of sea level rise, coastal flooding and inundation, river flood and catchment flood mapping. The maps are a starting point. New scenarios may be added as we work through the planning process.
