No cheques after 30 June 2021

From 30 June 2021 Kaipara District Council will stop accepting payments by cheque because our bank is phasing them out.

ANZ and Westpac are phasing out cheques earlier. Please use an alternative method for your payments to Council.

For regular payments, like rates, it’s easiest to set up a direct debit payment. You can make your payments weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or annually. We can help you set it up and do all the administration for you. Fill out the form on kaipara.govt.nz under ‘get it done online’ or pop into our office and pick up a form.

You can also use online bill payment, your credit card to pay online or to pay by eftpos at our Customer Service Centres.
