Proposed Plan Change 2: Fire Safety was notified in response to implementation and compliance issues that caused some frustration within the Kaipara community. It was withdrawn in 2016.
On 26 September 2016 the Kaipara District Council resolved to withdraw Proposed Plan Change 2 and publicly notify a new proposal in respect of the Fire Safety Rules (Land Use) as Proposed Plan Change 4.
A Public Notice withdrawing Proposed Plan Change 2 was published in accordance with the requirements of the Resource Management Act.
